This Circle will give space for your feelings - whatever they are - and will empower you to make changes in your family dynamic. Not by adding to your mental and emotional load (you don’t need that). But by allowing, processing and accepting your completely valid mental and emotional reactions to your family life.

This Circle is a nurturing space for parents and will meet you where you are, to support you to shift things up and create change. You might be feeling lost, overwhelmed, confused, in denial, scared, angry, isolated, sad, helpless, traumatised, hopeless… Perhaps all or none of the above! It’s all valid. There is also space for all the joy, excitement, wonder and celebration that parenting can bring in this space.

In a guided, supportive space you will have time to pause, connect and offload. You will leave feeling resourced, understood, seen, supported and valued.

There are so many of us experiencing the highs and lows of parenting in a neurodivergent/disabled family - or in families that just feel ‘more challenging than others’ - and these circles honour the complex realities of our lived experience and bring us together in collective support and belonging.

Let’s connect, let’s soothe our nervous system, let’s break down our internal barriers to happiness and let’s do it together. Because life is better in community and I know how excluding life can feel; I also know, it doesn’t have to feel that way.

Come and spend 90 minutes together in person, in community with other parents. You or your child might have a formal diagnosis (autistic, ADHD, PTSD, anxiety, dsylexia etc) but you/they don’t need one to be part of this community - self-identification is welcome and embraced. As is curiosity - you might not be sure what ‘it’ is that’s creating the challenges in your home and this might be an exciting step towards discovering what that is.

Not sure if this is right for you? What even is neurodivergent? I don’t know if my child is developing typically or not? For me, neurodivergent is anyone who’s brain is atypical and doesn’t fit ‘the norm’ of societal expectation in any way and so includes all learning differences and all mental health diagnoses. Coming along might give you some of the answers you’re looking for, or start you in the direction of discovery. If in doubt, reach out. No question is too silly to ask.

Each circle includes a guided Somatic Meditation, Embodiment practices and the space to share in a judgement and comparison-free space. Open to parents of all genders and no discrimination of any kind will be tolerated.

2pm, in person, at Family By The Sea, 2a Addington Street, Ramsgate. We’ll spend 90 minutes in Circle, with half an hour to chat and hang out afterwards. Refreshments included. Tickets are limited and non-refundable but transferable.
