WHY do we do it?
We had the idea to bring the combined benefits of breath, meditation, movement and positive psychology to teenagers. It works for us and we wish we’d known about it a lot sooner. Developing our idea (and reading the research) we realised teachers having those benefits could make even more of a difference.* So now we do both. In your setting, where you can see it working. And hopefully, give you the tools to make each day a little happier.
Tried and tested by a teacher with over a decade of experience in a range of settings we know the techniques that work. Having practised yoga and mindfulness for years, working with a coach on mindset was the final piece of the mental health puzzle and was the inspiration for (and beginning of) Re:set School.
Mindfulness, yoga and mindset all decrease stress, anxiety and depression while improving performance, relationships, concentration and focus. Using all three together has wide-ranging benefits and allows people to choose what works for them. The tools we share will help participants feel calmer, more in control and encourage them to treat themselves and others with kindness and compassion.
We understand the pressures, problems and stresses of the education system and want everyone to be able to access simple techniques to support their lives. Our sessions won’t give you the same deep knowledge, understanding and experience of a regular yoga practice or a longer mindfulness training- that’s not why we’re here. What we are here for is to demonstrate how you can easily incorporate strategies in to each day.
“It’s really not surprising that Holly has embraced this wonderful, caring and empathetic approach towards young people and those involved in education. It’s a continuation of her passionate and compassionate teaching ethos. ”
